On Wednesday 25th December 2024, the Pakistan Super League revealed through its official social media accounts that more Foreign Players registered for PSL 10 Player Draft, and their names are Mustafizur Rahman, Sikandar Raza, and Tom Curran. The HBL PSL 10 players draft is scheduled for January 11, 2025, in Gwadar. The registration window for international cricketers from all over the world is open for the HBL PSL 10 Player Draft.
More names of international cricketers have been unveiled by now by PSL after Jason Roy, Usman Khawaja, and David Willey. Left-arm medium pacer Mustafizur Rahman from Bangladesh, Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikandar Raza, and Right-arm fast bowler Tom Curran from England have already played Pakistan Super League (PSL) in the past.
Mustafizur Rahman
The left-arm medium-fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman has represented Bangladesh on the international stage in all three different formats of cricket and also participated in the different T20 leagues all over the world. He has earned his name on the big stage of cricket through his fine bowling both with the new and old ball and disturbing the batters with his variations.
Mustafizur Rahman in PSL: Mustafizur Rahman has represented Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League in 2018. While representing Lahore Qalandars (LQ) in PSL-3 20218, Mustafizur Rahman has played 05 matches only where he took 04 wickets with an average of 25.75 at a strike rate of 24.00 with an economy of just 6.43.
Sikandar Raza
All-rounder Sikandar Raza has represented Zimbabwe in all three formats at the international level and has played 17 tests, 148 ODIs, and 102 T20Is for Zimbabwe. Sikandar Raza is the only Zimbabwean cricketer to score a century in T20Is. As a white ball specialist, Sikandar Raza has played in many T20 leagues all over the world including Pakistan Super League.
Sikandar Raza in PSL: Sikandar represented Karachi Kings in PSL-4 2019 and then joined Lahore Qalandars in PSL-8 (2023) and PSL-9 (2024) and played a vital role for his team with both ball and bat. Sikandar Raza has played a total of 23 matches in the Pakistan Super League where he scored 337 runs with an average of 22.46 at a strike rate of 146.5 while his highest score is 71 with the bat. Moreover, he also took 10 wickets in the Pakistan Super League with an average of 32.00 at a strike rate of 23.00 and an economy of 8.25.
Tom Curran
The right-arm fast bowler has represented England in all three formats of the game at the international stage and has played 2 tests, 28 ODIs, and 30 T20Is for England. Tom was part of England’s winning team of the Cricket World Cup 2019. He has also participated in major T20 cricket leagues all around the world including the Pakistan Super League.
Tom Curran in PSL: the right arm fast bowler Tom Curran has represented Islamabad United in PSL-8 2023 and has played a total of 5 matches in which he took 8 wickets with an average of 22.0 at a strike rate of 15.0 with an economy of 9.05.
The HBL PSL 10 2025 player draft is set to be held on 11th January 2025 in Gwadar for the very first time. More international cricketers are likely to register themselves in the player draft. The 10th season of Pakistan Super League 2025 is going to start in April 2025 in Pakistan.
