The registration opened for foreign players of HBL PSL 2024. the process is now open for foreign players aiming to participate in the ninth edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL). The tournament is scheduled to run from 8th February to 24th March. The fans are more curious about starting the next chapter of this thrilling event.
In addition to this, updates on the renewal of categories for local players are expected to be released shortly. Following these renewals, the trade and retention window will be activated. Once this window is open, details about the player draft for the upcoming season will also be disclosed.
To ensure a level playing field, retentions, and trades need to be finalized before the HBL PSL 9 Player Draft. It is tentatively scheduled for the 13th of December 2023. This draft follows the conclusion of the National T20, with its final match set to take place on 10th December in Karachi.
The previous season witnessed Lahore Qalandars sealing their second consecutive HBL PSL title after defeating Multan Sultans in the final at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Islamabad United secured the third position, while Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings stood fourth and fifth, respectively. Quetta Gladiators concluded the season in the sixth position.
