Registration of Overseas players for PSL Draft 2024 will continue till the commencement of the PSL 9 Draft. Three more overseas player have done their signed up for PSL Draft 2024. The first one is, Chris Jordon, a right-arm fast bowler from England who has registered in the PSL draft 2024. The second overseas player is, Rashid Khan, a right-arm spin bowler, from Afghanistan who also signed up for Pakistan Super League Draft 9 2024. The 3rd registration of overseas players for PSL Draft 2024 is Rovman Powell, an all-rounder from West Indies who has also registered himself for HBL PSL draft 9.
Apart from them, lots of other foreign players also registered themselves in the HBL PSL 9 2024 Draft. The details of overseas player’s registration for PSL Draft Season 9 2024 are given below:
Chris Jordon Signed up for HBL PSL Draft 2024
According to the latest update, Chris Jordon, a right-handed fast bowler from England has officially signed up for the PSL Draft 2024.
Chris Jordon already participated in the Pakistan Super League where he represented Peshawar Zalmi (PZ) in PSL season 2, 3 & 4 in 2017, 2018, and 2019 respectively. Later, He was picked by Karachi Kings (KK) in the HBL PSL Draft and represented them in the HBL PSL season 5 & 7 in 2020 & 2022 respectively.
Collectively, Chris Jordon has played 27 matches in Pakistan Super League so far where he scored 97 runs with an average of 5.3. He took 34 wickets in all his PSL seasons.
Rashid Khan Signed up for HBL PSL Draft 2024
Rashid Khan, a right-handed spin bowler from Afghanistan has also been officially signed up for the PSL 9 Draft 2024.
Additionally, Rashid Khan, at number 2 in ICC T 20 Ranking from Afghanistan also participated in the past Pakistan Super League where he represented Lahore Qalandars (LQ) in HBL PSL 6, 7 & 8 2021, 2022, and 2023 respectively.
Collectively, Rashid Khan has played 28 matches in Pakistan Super League so far where he scored only 203 runs in his 28 innings with an average of 10.1. Further, he is the spin bowler known for his bowling verities and took 44 wickets.
Rovman Powell Signed up for HBL PSL Draft 2024
Rovman Powell, an all-rounder from West Indies has been officially signed up for the PSL 9 Draft.
Furthermore, Rovman Powell also participated in Pakistan Super League season 6 & 8 in 2021 & 2023, where he represented Peshawar Zalmi. He has also played for Multan Sultans in PSL edition 7 2022 of Pakistan Super League.
Collectively, he has played 16 matches in Pakistan Super League so far where he took only 1 wicket and scored 276 runs with an average of 18.4. He also scored only 1 fifty in his all PSL seasons.
The Player Draft for PSL season 9 2024 will be held at NCA, Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on 13th, December 2023 where all the franchises will have the opportunity to complete their squad according to their plans and their respective pick order. The only aim is to pick the right player from all categories of the PSL Players Draft 2024. The upcoming season of PSL 9 is expected to start from 08 February 2024 to 24 March 2024 in different venues in Pakistan.
