All 30 league matches of the Pakistan Super League season 9 2024 are concluded. Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, and Quetta Gladiators are qualified for the HBL PSL 9 Playoffs as they occupied the top 4 spots respectively on the PSL 9 Points Table. Whereas Karachi Kings finished at 5th and defending champions Lahore Qalandars finished their journey at the bottom of the Points Table.
Three matches will be played in HBL PSL 9 Playoffs which will start from 14th March 2024 that will decide the final two teams for the HBL PSL 9 Final which is scheduled to be played on 18th March 2024. PSL 9 playoffs include one Qualifier and Two Eliminator matches and all the Playoff matches along with the HBL PSL Final will be played in the National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi.
Road to the HBL PSL 9 Final
Details of PSL 9 Playoffs (Qualifier and Eliminators) are here below:
Qualifier
The Qualifier of the HBL PSL 9 will be played between the top two teams of the PSL 9 Points Table i.e. Multan Sultans (MS) and Peshawar Zalmi (PZ) on 14th March 2024 in National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi. The winner of this match will through to the HBL PSL 9 Final whereas the loser of this match will play Eliminator-2 to get another chance to reach the PSL 9 Final.
Eliminator-1
The Eliminator-1 of the HBL PSL 9 2024 will be played between the 3rd and 4th placed teams of the PSL 9 points table i.e. Islamabad United (IU) and Quetta Gladiators (QG) on 15th March 2024 in National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi. The winner of this match will play Eliminator-2 against the loser of the Qualifier to reach the Final of the Pakistan Super League season 9. The loser of the PSL 9 Eliminator-1 will be eliminated from the race of the PSL 9 Final.
Eliminator-2
The Eliminator-2 of the HBL PSL 9 2024 will be played between the loser of the Qualifier and the winner of the Eliminator-1 on 16th March 2024 in the National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi. The winner of the Eliminator-2 will qualify for the Final of the HBL PSL 9 and will face the winner of the Qualifier.
Final of the HBL PSL 9 2024
The final of the HBL PSL season 9 2024 will be played on Monday 18th March 2024 at National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi between the winner of the PSL 9 Qualifier match and the winner of the PSL 9 Eliminator-2 match.
