Finally, the wait is over for cricket fans of LQ because fans can see the Lahore Qalandars complete squad for PSL 10 which comprises with competitive & experienced players. Lahore Qalandars has finalized its 20-member squad including some of the destructive T20 batters for the upcoming season of PSL season 10 2025 in the PSL player draft 2025, held on Monday 13th January 2025.
On January 04, 2025, before the player draft, Lahore Qalandars announced their retentions for the upcoming PSL tournament ahead of the PSL-10 player draft where they retained their 08 players from the previous season of the PSL 9 2024.
Lahore Qalandars picked the rest of their 12 players involving both overseas & local players during the PSL-2025 player draft that was held on Monday, 13th January 2025 in Hazoori Bagh, Lahore Fort, Lahore. Lahore Qalandars is the only team that won the consecutive two PSL titles in PSL seasons 7 & 8 played in 2022 & 2023 out of 9 PSL editions.
The performance of LQ was not up to the mark in the last season of PSL 9 2024 and was at the last position of the points table. LQ managed to win only one match in that edition.
Lahore Qalandars Combination in PSL-10
Lahore Qalandars has depth in their batting lineup and is loaded with aggressive T20 batters, led by Fakhar Zaman followed by Daryl Mitchell, Sam Billings, and Kusal Perera in the top order. Asif Ali, and Asif Afridi can provide stability and aggression in the middle order. Whereas Jahandad Khan, David Wiese, and Sikandar Raza can play a finishing role with the bat for Lahore Qalandars.
Lahore Qalandars’ fast bowling department is looking very strong as well and they have their skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi, followed by Haris Rauf and Zaman Khan. Moreover, Tom Curran, Muhammad Azab, and Jahandad Khan have the caliber to add more strength to the fast-bowling lineup of Lahore Qalandars.
