On Wednesday, 07 January 2026, the PCB unveiled all 10 Qualified Bidders for new PSL teams ahead of the auction. The Pakistan Cricket Board started to reveal all 10 qualified bidders one by one, individually, since Monday, 05 January 2026, through their social media channel.

Auction Winners of Two New PSL Franchises
- Kingsmen Group (FKS) (Investments) won the bid for the 7th team of the Pakistan Super League in PKR 175 Crore. They chose Hyderabad as their franchise name.
- OZ Developers (Real Estate) won the bid for the 8th team of the HBL Pakistan Super League in PKR 185 Crore. They chose Sialkot as their franchise name.
Process Details of PSL Teams Auction
The process has now been finalized ahead of the highly anticipated auction of two new PSL teams, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 08th January 2026. The Jinnah Convention Centre in Islamabad is the venue to host the much-awaited auction for two new PSL teams.
The auction ceremony will start at 4:15 PM PST, and it will be live-streamed on the PCB’s official YouTube Channels, HBL PSL, as well as on live streaming platforms, i.e., Myco, Tapmad, and Tamasha. Moreover, the auction will also be streamed live on PCB Live for the viewers of the United Kingdom (UK) Region only.
Renowned singer of Pakistan, Mr. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, will also perform at the event following the completion of the bidding process. Prior to the start of the auction, the Men’s Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 winning squads of the Pakistan Shaheens and the victorious squad of the Hong Kong Super Sixes 2025 will be felicitated for their successes.
A total of 10 technically qualified bidders will be competing for two new PSL teams as the HBL Pakistan Super League is set to expand from 06 teams to 08 teams in its upcoming 11th edition, which is scheduled to take place from 26 March to 03 May 2026 in Pakistan. The technically qualified bidders include a diverse pool of businesses ranging from areas like telecommunication, agro business, real estate business, a software company from the United States (USA), and Tech companies both from Pakistan and abroad.
A total of 12 parties filed bids for the two new PSL teams but after a thorough technical evaluation process, 10 out of those 12 bidders are set to combat out for ownership of two new PSL franchises through an open auction after the enormous success of the two roadshows of the HBL PSL in London, UK and New York, USA on 7th and 13th of December 2025, respectively.
10 Confirmed & Qualified Bidders for New PSL Teams
Here is the list of all 10 technically qualified bidders for the auction of two new franchises of the Pakistan Super League.

1. Inverex (Renewable Energy)
A well-known solar energy company in Pakistan, which also has experience as a sponsor of PSL, and Mr. Muhammad Zakir Ali is the owner of this company.
2. Jazz (Telecom)
Jazz is Pakistan’s largest telecom company and an existing PSL partner led by Mr. Amir Ibrahim.
3. OZ Developers (Real Estate)
This group operates in property development, and Mr. Hamza Majeed is the chairman of this real estate business.
4. VGO TEL (Technology)
VGO TEL is a Karachi-based mobile company led by Mr. Naveed Gaba, highlighting interest from the tech sector of Pakistan.
5. Deharki Sugar Mills (Business & Sports)
Deharki Sugar Mills (DSM) is led by Mr. Makhdoom Syed Ali Mahmud and Mr. Ali Tareen Khan, who was the previous owner of the PSL franchise Multan Sultans and is now looking to make a return to own a PSL franchise after previously parting ways with Multan Sultans.
6. i2c (Fintech)
i2c is a global fintech platform founded by Pakistani-American entrepreneur Mr. Aamir Wain, representing international investor participation for the auction of two new PSL franchises.
7. Walee Technologies (Media & Fintech)
Walee Technologies is a digital media and financial technology company targeting to leverage the reach of the huge audience of the Pakistan Super League.
8. Prism Developers (Property)
Prism Developers is led by Mr. Masood Alvi (CEO), a joint bid combining real estate development with technology-driven business interests.
9. Kingsmen Group (FKS) (Investments)
FKS is an investment firm looking forward to buying the ownership of the PSL franchise as a long-term commercial asset. The firm is led by Mr. Fawad Sarwar.
10. Aim Next Inc. (Tech & Innovation)
Aim Next Incorporation, a technology-focused company, is targeting brand growth through sports ownership, like a PSL franchise. Aim Next incorporation is led by Mr. Umar Mushtaq & Mr. Ali Mushtaq.
Final Thoughts
PCB Committee has finalized the final ten bidders for the auction of two new franchises, which will be part of PSL 11 2026. The auction will take place on January 8th, 2026, at the Jinnah Center, Islamabad. The two successful bidders among the qualified bidders for new PSL teams will choose the name of their franchise from the pool of cities shortlisted for potential franchise allocation, which includes Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Gilgit, Hyderabad, and Muzaffarabad.
