On Thursday 2nd January 2025, the Pakistan Super League announced four more foreign players signed up for PSL 10 Player Draft through their official social media platforms. West Indies spin sensation Akeal Hosein, Kiwi hard hitter batter Mark Chapman, kiwi all-rounder Michael Bracewell, and current Sri Lankan White Ball captain Charith Asalanka have officially registered for the PSL-10 Player Draft.
The registration window is still open for foreign players of the PSL 10 player draft. A total of 31 foreign players have registered in the player draft so far including some of the big names like Adam Milne, Mujeeb ur Rahman, Jason Holder, David Warner, Tim Southee, Alex Hales, Usman Khawaja, Martin Guptill, Jason Roy, etc. Many more foreign players are expected to get registered ahead of the PSL-10 player draft 2025. Only Akeal Hosein among the four signees of today have already played in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) whereas Mark Chapman, Michael Bracewell, and Charith Asalanka are yet to play in PSL.

Akeal Hosein
The slow left-arm orthodox from West Indies, Akeal Hosein has officially registered for the Player Draft of PSL-10 2025. Akeal Hosein has represented West Indies in 38 ODIs, and 67 T20Is at the international level and has taken 117 international wickets so far for his country. He has also played in different T20 leagues around the world including the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Akeal Hosein in PSL: Akeal Hosein has represented Multan Sultans in PSL-8 (2023) and Quetta Gladiators in PSL-9 (2024). He has played a total of 13 matches in the Pakistan Super League where he took 16 wickets with an average of 25.37, at a strike rate of 19.12, with an economy of 7.96.
Mark Chapman
The left-hand explosive batter from New Zealand, Mark Chapman has officially registered for the Player Draft of PSL 10 2025. Mark Chapman has represented Hong Kong & New Zealand at international level and has played 26 ODIs and 81 T20Is. He has played in many T20 leagues all around the world but he is yet to play in the Pakistan Super League.

Michael Bracewell
The batting all-rounder from New Zealand, Michael Bracewell has officially registered for the HBL PSL 10 Player Draft 2025. Michael Bracewell made his debut in 2022 and represented New Zealand in 8 tests, 22 ODIs, and 27 T20Is at the international level and scored 1062 runs & took 72 international wickets so far for New Zealand. He also has the experience of playing in different T20 franchise cricket all over the world but hasn’t participated in PSL yet. PSL 10 2025 can be his inaugural tournament if he is picked in the player draft.

Charith Asalanka
The left-hand batter & current white ball captain of Sri Lanka, Charith Asalanka has officially signed up for the PSL 10 2025 player draft. He made his debut in 2021 and has represented Sri Lanka in 03 tests, 68 ODIs, and 58 T20Is at the international level where he scored nearly 3500 international runs and took 21 international wickets so far for Sri Lanka. He has also played in different T20 cricket leagues worldwide but has yet to make his first appearance in Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Charith Asalanka in PSL: Charith Asalanka is yet to play in PSL.
The PSL 10 2025 player draft is scheduled to be held in Gwadar on 11th January 2025 and it can be shifted to Lahore due to logistic issues. The 10 edition of Pakistan Super League 2025 is set to start on April 9th, 2025 in Pakistan. The schedule and venues of the Pakistan Super League (PSL season 10) will be announced later by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
