On Tuesday 31st December 2024, the last day of the year, the Pakistan Super League announced the signees of two prolific international cricketers. David Warner and Tim Southee have registered for PSL 10 Player Draft 2025, the biggest overseas signees in the player draft of Pakistan Super League season 10.
The registration window is still open for player drafts of PSL-10 of international cricketers from all around the globe. Many more international cricketers are likely to get registered ahead of the PSL 10 player draft 2025. The Aussie powerhouse David Warner and the pace sensation Tim Southee from New Zealand have never participated in the Pakistan Super League in the past but now they can make their debut in the PSL as every PSL franchise will be keen to pick them to strengthen their combination.

David Warner
The left-hand destructive opening batter from Australia, David Warner has officially registered for the PSL-10 Player Draft 2025. David Warner has represented Australia in 112 tests, 161 ODIs, and 110 T20Is at the international level, scored nearly 19000 international runs, and struck 49 international hundreds in a 15-year-long international career. David Warner was also part of Australia’s winning team in the 2015 and 2023 ODI World Cup. Moreover, David Warner was part of Australia’s winning team in the 2021 T20 World Cup as well as the ICC World Test Championship 2021-2023 winning team.
After a successful international career, David Warner retired from international cricket in 2024. He has also played in different T20 leagues all over the world and now he looks to extend his T20 league profile as he entered in the Pakistan Super League player draft.
Tim Southee
The right-arm fast bowler from New Zealand, Tim Southee has officially signed up for Pakistan Super League season 10 player draft 2025. Tim Southee has represented New Zealand in 107 tests, 161 ODIs, and 126 T20Is at the international stage and took 776 international wickets in a 16-year-long international career. Tim Southee was also part of New Zealand’s winning team in the ICC World Test Championship 2019-2021. Moreover, he was also part of New Zealand’s team, which ended up as the runner-up in the 2015 and 2019 ODI World Cups and the 2021 T20 World Cup.
Tim Southee is now focusing on international white ball cricket and domestic & T20 franchise leagues all around the world as he announced his retirement from test cricket in December 2024. Many PSL franchisees will be eyeing on him in the PSL 10 player draft.
The player draft of PSL-10 is scheduled to be held in Gwadar on 11th January 2025 but the news of shifting the PSL draft to Lahore is also circulating due to the logistics problem. More international cricketers are likely to be signed in the PSL 10 player draft. The Pakistan Super League season 10 2025 is scheduled to start on 09th April 2025 in Pakistan. The schedule and venues of Pakistan Super League season 10 will be announced later by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
